Our King Wool Duvet Range

Each king wool duvet inner is filled with pure New Zealand wool and cased in 100% cotton cambric, 290 thread count, treated with Sanitized® Mintactiv for protection against dust mites and odour. The wool is Buy NZ Made certified and backed by a five-year guarantee on workmanship and quality. At king size the extra width matters as much as the fill: a properly sized duvet reduces the pulling and bunching that comes from two people sharing bedding cut for a smaller bed.

The range includes a 150gsm summer weight, a 350gsm autumn weight, a 500gsm winter weight and a Four Seasons duvet that combines the autumn and summer layers together. A king 500gsm winter duvet weighs around 4.2kg, noticeably more substantial than the queen size, which is worth knowing if you prefer a lighter feel; our king alpaca wool duvets offer similar warmth at a lower weight.

  • The 500gsm winter weight has real substance, around 4.2kg in king size, which some sleepers prefer for a settled, weighted feel. If you would rather have warmth without the weight, our king alpaca wool duvets deliver similar warmth at a noticeably lighter weight.

  • Wool’s moisture-wicking structure helps smooth over small differences in sleep temperature. Where preferences vary more, two king single wool duvets placed side by side can give each person independent control.

  • It is machine washable on a gentle or wool cycle at a maximum of 40°C. Given the size, we recommend a large-capacity or commercial machine and dryer, and always avoid top loaders and high heat, which can felt the wool.
