Our Queen Wool Duvet Range

Each queen wool duvet inner is filled with pure New Zealand wool and cased in 100% cotton cambric, 290 thread count, treated with Sanitized® Mintactiv to guard against dust mites and odour. The wool itself is Buy NZ Made certified and every duvet inner carries a five-year guarantee on workmanship and quality. The wool's structure lets moisture move through the fibre rather than sit against the body, which is what gives the duvet its steady warmth through the night.

The range spans a 150gsm summer weight, a 350gsm autumn weight and a 500gsm winter weight, with a Four Seasons duvet that combines the autumn and summer layers together for cooler months. In queen size, the 500gsm winter weight weighs around 3.6kg, giving real substance without the density of a synthetic duvet. Couples who run at different temperatures sometimes prefer our queen alpaca wool duvet, which offer a lighter equivalent warmth.

Queen Wool Duvet FAQs

  • Wool naturally moves moisture away from the body, which helps buffer minor differences in sleep temperature. If the gap is bigger, two single wool duvets, or a queen alpaca wool duvet for a lighter equivalent warmth, can give more control.

  • Yes. Wash on a gentle or wool cycle at a maximum of 40°C and dry naturally or on a low tumble setting. Avoid top loaders, hot water and heavy agitation, which can felt the wool.
